I just ran into this problem last week, trying to input traditional Chinese characters on a Windows XP system using the only input method I know, pinyin. I can’t read Bopomofo sounds and don’t know the keyboard layout. After resorting to a supplementary method of working backwards from Japanese readings in order to use Japanese input methods, I gave up and let the prospective typesetter (in Hong Kong) input the characters in a bilingual glossary. I’m sure they can do it in no time.
