Ooops. I must stop doing that. I always do this. I look at all the really good writing on the blogosphere, look at my diary style blog and think ‘No, no, no. I want to do so much better!’ My boyfriend pointed out later that I could’ve stored the stuff offline instead of deleting the lot of it. Anyway, I’m going to undo a few of the changes and start my new project on it. I want to do something a bit like this site, cronaca and language hat, writing about history. The difference is that I want to aim myself at people who are about 10 to 15 years younger than me, love history and want to do more than the school curriculum offers. To be honest I think it’ll be a challenge because it’ll take a lot more thought than the stuff I usually write. Also, how do you pitch it at the right level? Too low and it’s patronising, too high and it won’t work. Having said that, I don’t suppose I’ll ever get anyone of that age group reading it! :)

My friends told me all these numbers were as good as made up when they were displayed.
